Camp was productive - we did a lot of things in the day, got through things efficiently.
I liked the emphasis on the fundamental aspects of basketball. The foundation builds upon itself during the 3 days.
My son said it was the best camp he attended all summer. He loved that they really pushed him to his limits.
Asher learned a lot. And was very excited to go to camp everyday. He wanted to arrive 30 minutes early every morning and was sore after every session. He loved it and loved coach Nate and coach Kevin. We already signed him up for another camp.
I enjoyed seeing my sons not only learn skills and moves on the court but also, in the classroom. I liked the fact they were provided a guide and required to bring it to camp. I agree with this approach. You must become a student of the game. That makes the difference between someone that just hoops and someone that becomes an actual basketball player. Given the student, a methodology to approach the game will develop my boys into a successful passionate basketball players.
Learning drills and repetition.
Having a coach give immediate feedback to make slight changes to and make gains.
Coach Ellis was amazing and very engaged with every participant. He remembered my daughter's name immediately and gave praise readily and gave corrections in a positive manner. Every coach their followed his example and kept the kids engaged and hustling. My daughter said this was the most intense and valuable skills camp she has ever been a part of and loved every minute of it.
Morris was AWESOME!! He was so great with my daughter Monroe ...who is a major handful of sassy:) He was fun and knowledgeable and great with kids. The other coaches were great too!
