2024 Spring & Summer Basketball Camps Near Cedar Rapids, IA

All the coaches were patient, fun and full of energy. They keep the pace going and kept the kids motivated

Beyond the basketball skills, we loved the life lessons and guidance provided at the end of each day. It was so nice to hear!

Cole enjoyed the camp a a lot! I personally liked the drills they worked on to continue to master those. I also appreciated the video before camp started to get an idea of what they would be working on throughout the camp.

Both of my boys (ages 12 and 14) attended this camp. They liked how hard the coaches pushed them, that they got to work on a variety of skills, and that they got to play actual scrimmages.

The drills really helped me develop and learn. The coaches were very helpful and the philosophy of the camp was great.

Very organized, excellent instruction (basketball and beyond), coaches were incredible with the kids, all of the content that I saw and what my son has told me is exactly what I was hoping for. We will be searching for these camps in the future!

High level of all-coach encouragement, motivation and positivity. Rigorous but not "boot camp" pace. Maximized day-long structure and organization, with obvious and efficient session planning. Insightful coach selection with solid youth coaching experience. Highly impressed with coaches' sensitivity to my diabetic daughter's need to take breaks, manage blood sugar, and newness to/lack of confidence in basketball in general (Coach K specifically!). My daughter wanted to quit several times but because of Coach K's endless motivation, kindness and encouragement, my daughter hung in there until the end. She has been bullied and these experiences make her tougher when she realizes she can push herself further than what's comfortable.

Coach was confident, knew her stuff, got to know the kids right away and brought the confidence out in others. Drills were relevant, fun, ensured the campers were hard working and positive towards themselves and their peers.

I liked how organized it was, the coaches managed to teach all the techniques and gave opportunities to campers to improve on their skills. I also liked how passionate and attentive each coach was toward the campers.

Focus on fundamentals, which is what we were looking for. My daughter loved the camp and looked forward to attending. She learned a lot I can't say enough good things about BJ Watson ... So enthusiastic and positive. Encouraging the kids to focus on being better people all around, not just in basketball. Thank you!

I can't even express to you how much I appreciate Charlie's approach from what I heard in the last half hour of camp on Thursday. His message is exactly what we preach as parents. Amazing in his delivery and what he said and taught. PERFECT! Thank you Charlie, he was teaching my young daughter like skills beyond basketball and was able to relate the two, thanks again, keep up the great work, do you do private lessons 😊
