Author name: Jeff Haefner

Jeff is one of the co-founders of Breakthrough Basketball. He is a basketball junkie who loves the game of basketball, whether he is playing, coaching, watching, or writing about it. He’s been playing for over 20 years and coaching for 10 years. But what Jeff enjoys the most is teaching young players the fundamentals of basketball, how to gain confidence, and how to be successful in life. That is his passion! To him, practice is more fun than the games because that’s where he gets the opportunity to teach and have a positive impact on young player’s lives. Jeff also brings a very unique aspect to his teachings... Not only can he talk x's and o's, but he can also teach you little-known and super-effective techniques that he learned from the business world. Jeff studied very hard and learned from some of the most successful businesses in the world. Not only did this help him in his own businesses and in building multi-million dollar companies, but he also discovered that these techniques can also be applied to basketball. He also found that very few coaches and players utilized these "business fundamentals and techniques". Coaching basketball and running a business are very similar. You need to motivate, bring a group of people together to accomplish a shared goal, manage processes, manage employees, manage time, measure performance, and so on. Jeff can help you in all those areas and more. And most of the things you'll learn are probably things you've never seen anywhere else!
