Shooting Chair drill

Does the little drill where u sit in chair and shoot ball straight up and catch it yourself help and if so what does it really do for and exactly how do u do it ?

I never did that - but one drill I did for some players that had a FLAT
shot was to have them lie on their back and shoot the ball straight up LIKE IN A PHONE BOOTH and have it come straight back down.

Is Blake having a problem with his shot? Flat? There is an old saying, " IF it aint broke, don't fix it "
