what are the values learned in sports that can be transferred to the work setting?
what are the similarities of sport setting and work setting?
how do values learned in sport transfer in the work setting?
The examples of how sports teach you life lessons and prepare you for the real world are countless. They can teach you..

- hard work
- communication
- teamwork
- being proactive
- realizing life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to things (attitude)
- being organized
- time management
- honesty
- ethics
- reciprocity

These are just a couple examples that come to mind. I know sports taught me a lot about what it takes to be successful in the game of life.

Some players learn these lessons, others do not. Many times it's up to the student to get what they can out of the experience. The question is how can coaches get more players to learn these lessons and values?
Great list Jeff...

I would add everyone working towards one common goal.
Being goal oriented.
