Double Team Defense

Hey fellow coaches
You're probably looking for a trapping type zone or when to trap the offense. I'd google "basketball trapping drills" and look for a few on Youtube. Your biggest challenge will be setting a good trap and proper rotation. Teams get beat when a defender leaves the person they're guarding and no one rotates to cover their player.

Thinking you'll have to pick a full court trapping zone (3-2, 2-1-2, etc.) and walk through it in practice. Come up with some rules for the "what if's". What if the ball goes to the middle? What if the ball is reversed? When do we sprint back to the paint?
Thanks Coach Rob,
