Recruitment

What tools or web sites are good to help your child get notice for college,,,esp. if his high school coach has not put together his stats for him, as they do not put out much info on the kids to get recognized? We live in south GA and very limited resources. Would love to put him on a team,...but when you look on the aau web site and search clubs, there are hundreds of red dot locators to search between. We know about the recruiters that vist Disney Wide World of Sports, during summer ball, but we have to get him on team first. Are certain camps a good place to get recognized? Web sites...seem to want to charge, such a berecruited.com.

Here's an article with some ideas:

If the player is really good and plays on a good summer bball team, they will get noticed. However hardly anyone gets noticed and they think they are a lot better than they are. If you are truly good, a coach will notice in you in summer games. Just find a good team nearby and try out.
If a player is really good and they try out, they will get on the good teams. In fact the coaches will beg them to be on the team because they want to win and that's how they usually make money. It can be cut throat at times. So the best advice is to become a super valuable and good player. Without that, it doesn't matter what you do.
