Back Tip the Basketball

Coach, exactly what do you mean by back tip the basketball? Are you suggesting the defender in the back court, if he cannot cut off, to run along side to look to tip the ball IF the ball handler changes hands? What I think of a back tip is a lazy defender who wraps around an offensive player and tips the ball.

Can you just explain this terminology in a little more detail?
