Roosevelt Green Camps

With over 30 years of experience in education and coaching, Coach Green is a seasoned basketball coach and leader in athletics serving in multiple roles as a coach, teacher and athletic administrator.  He has dedicated his career to fostering student-athletes development both on and off the court.

As a Head Boys Varsity Basketball coach in the city of Detroit his teams consistently were ranked in the Top 10 in Metro Detroit.  Coach Green has worked numerous basketball camps and clinics, specializing in skill and player development while advancing players’ understanding of the game. His teaching philosophy of changing how basketball is taught and learned focuses on the “why, how, and when” concepts and principles of the game, empowering athletes to think critically, make smart decisions, and execute effectively in game situations.

Known for his ability to break down complex skills and strategies into teachable moments, he  has helped develop countless athletes improve their fundamentals, build confidence, and elevate their performance and ability to play at all levels.  Whether mentoring beginners or refining the skills of elite players, Coach Green emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and a love for the game.

His mission is to inspire the next generation of players reach their full potential as both athletes and individuals.
