Most of you would be satisfied with a senior year that produced these results...
- Sunflower League Player of the Year - This is a league in Kansas City that has produced multiple NBA players. It has also produced players that have attended elite college programs like Kansas and Kentucky.
- 6A Kansas 1st Team All State - This is the largest school division in Kansas.
- Averaged 24.4 PPG in league play - This is one of the highest scoring averages in recent years.
- Set multiple school records - 44 points in one game, 19 points in one quarter, and 27 points in one half.
- Holds 4 of 5 highest scoring games in school history.
- Achieved the extraordinary and extremely rare "180 shooter" status as a senior. He shot 50% FG, 43% 3-Point FG, and 88% FT.

This was accomplished by a player named Nic Slavin.
And this makes these accomplishments even more impressive. Nic didn't play varsity until he was a junior. He didn't even make the all conference team as a junior.
Nic doesn't have elite level quickness, length, or hops. When compared to other basketball players, all of these things are average.
However, he accomplished all of these things by developing an elite skill set and elite mindset.

How Nic Came Across A Basketball "Genius"
Nic was in the 6th grade when we first met. It was at one of my basketball camps.
He had an exceptional attitude and work ethic.
But you wouldn't have thought Nic was the same kid you see today. Not even close!
