Fastbreak: Point Guard Getting the Inbound Pass
Ages: All Ages Youth Middle School High School+
Purpose of the Drill:
Build on taking the ball out of bounds by having the point guard make a banana cut and receive the inbound pass on the move.
Instructions

- Two lines, a guard line and a big line.
- Coach shoots ball into the basket.
- Big takes the ball out of the basket, pivots, and shuffles to the side of the basket the point guard is breaking to.

- Big passes to point guard moving away from basket to start the fast break.
Points of Emphasis:
- Point guard needs to run a banana cut to get the ball moving up court.
- Point guard needs to separate from defensive man.
- Point guard makes eye contact with big taking out the ball to determine which way he is going to go to receive the inbound pass.
