Where to Position the Ball Before Shooting

Where should i place the ball before I shoot. should the ball be in front of me or to my right side?

Take one dribble and bring the ball up - that is about where it should be... elbow under the ball - the ball will be along side of your shooting hand eye and as you bring it up - your elbow will be along side your ear/eye as you release it.

Look up BEEF on the net and you should find some good shooters there too....
