TAKE OFF DRIBBLING

Forum » Player Development / Fundamentals » TAKE OFF DRIBBLING
I coach a girls 4th grade team, I have explained, ran 3 on 2 pass only , just pass drill after drill and the first thing my girls want to do when they get a pass is head and ball go down and dribble?? anyone have blinders I can borrow? just kidding but man how do I break them??

Thanks ,Scott
My suggestion would be to play NO DRIBBLE GAMES.... with this age group I would do it in a half court setting.... I did this with high school boys full court... it took awhile for them to catch on but it was amazing how they would come to a jump stop and look ahead for the open player.... it forces players to move and get open and to keep their heads up and see the floor.

Hope this helps.
