Practicing With Two Basketballs

Is it better to practice with two basketballs because you will get better at both hands?
I don't know if it is necessarily better but it certainly can help you become a better ball handler..... there are some of the ball handling drills that will allow you to use two balls... but you can use one and help yourself too... as long as you work on both hands.

I'll use two ball dribbling in some of my practices. It's a great ball control and ball handling drill.

But it's certainly challenging for someone who has not done it before.

Tips:

Start slow, stationary, try to keep head up and looking forward. Do not synchronize your bounces, alternate bounces...this is actually easier.
While still stationary....bend your knees and get low with short power bounces....slowly stand up with regular bounces...keep doing this cycle 10 times.

As you get proficient, add motion...start by walking first.

After a while try running while dribbling and controlling two basketballs.

I'll even do team dribble races with 2 balls per player.

Good Luck!!
