Tips on Shooting with Left Hand

I'm a post player and I start but I have trouble with my left hand. I want to know if you have any tips on shooting with my left hand. I try so hard I mean I kill my self trying but I just cant do it and it frustrates me to the point I get so mad I start to miss layups and that makes me even more mad.. so if anyone would give me some tips on making my game better.

What age group are you playing with right now?

First of all .... relax and enjoy the game....

- work on shooting Mikan lay ups... NO dribble... shoot a right handed lay up, take the ball out of the net - cross over and shoot a left handed lay up - keep repeating that.....

Then work on shooting lay ups utilizing one dribble - go off the proper foot and use the correct hand. Do a lot of repititions and it will become easier and easier. Don't be so hard on yourself... Just keep working on your game and you will get better. I've seen kids come in from Jr High where they didn't make their team and end up All Conference at the end of their Senior year.. it just takes a lot of dedication and hard work.
