Hey,
I've been working on my layups, specifically left-handed layups recently as its a flaw in my game, and I'm having troubles coming off my right foot on left-handed layups.
As a right-handed player, coming off my left foot seems to be the most fluent motion on the left side. When attempting layups off the right foot, I find myself having to focus on my footwork and dribbling far more, which often leads to me missing the layup as it feels so unnatural and stagnant.
Some coaches have noticed me coming off my left on the left-side and attempted to correct it, but many others have ignored it.
Any tips or advice is appreciated, thanks

I'm a big fan of Mikan drills. Here's a quick example of the basic mikan that might help.
