Type of Offense

What type of Offense to use against 1-2-2 and 2-1-2 zone defense

There are so many offenses to choose from. Depends on your personnel, what you run for your primary offense against man, and so on.

I like to keep things simple and use something that compliments our motion offense. Actually, we just use our motion and only make a couple small tweaks when we see zone.

Other coaches like completely separate offense specifically designed for zone.

I think you need to start by deciding... do you want a continuity, motion, called play, or a combination?

Do you want one zone offense for facing all types? Are you ok with having more than one offense? Can you just tweak your existing offense?
