Camp Director

I am setting up a camp to be run for 6 -2 hour sessions with 25 kids and 2 instructors. The ages are 11-14 years of age ,both girls and boys. What should be my points of emphasis in this camp. We have a wide range of ability from experienced to beginner. Both coaches are long time experienced coaches in all phases of the game. Please help with any suggestions you might have to maximize the efficiency of this camp.
Run lots of skill development drills. Split kids up into 3-5 at a basket. Plan everything out in a printed document so you can keep things moving efficiently

Shooting. Footwork. Ballhandling. Passing. Those are the main skills to work on in a setting like this.

If you're interested in some products that will help you with the camp, I suggest these products that have lots of drills and advice.

For the player work out drills in the above ebook, you'll want to spit players up at each basket. Let them get lots of reps. Do not correct to often and let them work things out. Put at least one good player at each basket because they will help the less skilled players. If a large number of players are doing something wrong, stop the whole group and demonstrate. If one or two players are messing up, pull them to the side and work with them individually for a bit. Let the rest of the players keep going.
