I'm 24 years old and i would like to start coaching.

hey my names pedro im 24 and im from pasadena, ca i've always had a great passion for basketball and have been thinking alot about getting into coaching but i wouldnt know where to start ive done a ton of research to learn what to focus on and so forthe but i would like to get to coach a traveling team or something to that extent can anyone help me out on suggestions on where to start off

You will more than likely have to start as an assistant or helping at a few clinics and camps. Jumping right into a traveling team coaching position is difficult without prior experience or connections. My advice would be to check with some local leagues in your area or maybe even some city or YMCAs and ask if they need help. If you know someone who is already a coach, ask them if you can help out at practices. Get some experience at the lower levels and make some connections.
