Traveling Violation

First of all, why are we spending so much time on this issue? In my opinion, if he passed it to no one in particular, and no one in particular touched the ball and the player who passed it to no one in particular and the ball was advanced through this pass to no one in particular, then I believe that traveling is the correct call because no dribble occurred in the advancement of the ball.
