Sessions:

3rd to 6th grade

Sunday's - 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM - Frankfort

Thursday's - 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM - La Grange

Friday's - 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM - Frankfort


6th to 9th grade

Sunday's - 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM - Frankfort

Thursday's - 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM - La Grange

Friday's - 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM - Frankfort

Job Description:

Breakthrough Basketball is seeking enthusiastic and dependable basketball coaches for our training academy, designed for grades 3-9 boys and girls. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with kids and the ability to teach basketball fundamentals in a fun and engaging camp environment. This is a weekly training regimen designed to build up our athlete's skill and mindset over time through consistent sessions and support.

At Breakthrough Basketball, we are dedicated to developing youth both on and off the court. Our goal is to nurture players who understand the game and embody sportsmanship. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, and coaches should be enthusiastic, patient, have a sense of humor, and maintain a positive attitude. You will also serve as a role model, setting high moral standards and fostering a supportive atmosphere. Our coaches are expected to be role models and positive examples at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Emphasize and reinforce key teachings from the Lead Coach
  • Ensure organization and setup for drills
  • Motivate athletes and maintain high energy
  • Echo key coaching points during breakout sessions
  • Promote a fun, and positive training environment

Requirements:

  • Responsible and mature
  • Comfortable working with children of all ages
  • Knowledge of the game

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a High School or College Player, High School, College, Youth or AAU Coach, and/or Private Trainer
  • Minimum Age: 18

Job Type: Part-Time

Salary: $25-50/hour
