Kari Nielsen Camps

Lead Instructor - Kari Nielsen 

Kari Nielsen is a former collegiate basketball player with a passion for helping young athletes grow both on and off the court. A graduate of Horizon High School in Thornton, Colorado, she played at Hastings College from 2000–2004, helping the Broncos win two NAIA National Championships.

Outside of basketball, Kari works as an elementary school paraprofessional, where she encourages and supports students every day. Her passion for working with children is evident in everything she does, creating a positive, energetic environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and motivated to succeed.

Kari has coached boys and girls from Kindergarten through high school and is dedicated to helping players develop confidence, character, teamwork, and a love for the game. Her coaching philosophy is simple: work hard, have fun, and encourage one another while striving to improve both on and off the court.
