Lead Instructor - Ben Davis

Coach Ben Davis brings nearly two decades of coaching experience at the collegiate and AAU levels, along with a proven track record of developing players and building successful programs. In 2026, he was named Head Men’s Basketball Coach at St. Scholastica.

Coach Davis has led multiple programs to new heights throughout his career. Most recently, he served as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater during the 2024–25 season. Prior to that, he was the head coach at Knox College, where he orchestrated a major turnaround—leading the program to its first winning season in 19 years and highest win total in 24 years.

Earlier in his career, Coach Davis guided Green Mountain College to an 18–10 record and a conference championship, while his team ranked #1 in the nation in scoring defense. At Dakota County Technical College, he transformed a 7–21 team into a 23–8 contender in just two seasons and led the program to its first-ever NJCAA National Tournament appearance, earning Coach of the Year honors.

In addition to his head coaching experience, Coach Davis has coached at Clarke University, Carleton College, and Macalester College. While at Carleton, he helped lead the team to a conference championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.

Coach Davis has also spent over 10 years coaching AAU basketball with the Minnesota Fury, helping more than 60 players advance to the collegiate level. Known for his ability to teach the game, connect with players, and build confidence, Coach Davis creates a fun, high-energy learning environment where players improve quickly.
