Coach Jonathan Bluitt

Jonathan's decorated playing past includes: 4-time high school state basketball champion at OKC McGuinness (�98 to �01), Member of Athletes First (the first Nike-sponsored basketball team in OK), and a 3-year starter at Oral Roberts University

Despite playing the game at a high level for so many years, Coach Bluitt still has a passion for teaching the fundamentals. Players and parents love the way his positive energy fills up the gym, as well as the effectiveness of his step-by-step instruction.

No matter what level you�re currently playing at, Coach Bluitt can help you take the next big step before the start of next season.

Coach Aaron Young

Coach Aaron Young was born and raised in Oklahoma, graduating from Edmond Memorial HS in 2013. He played on two 6A State Championship basketball teams and one 6A State Runner-up team.

He then went on to be a three-year letterwinner at Oral Roberts. He played in 90 games and finished his career with more than 100 made 3-pointers and ranked third for the Golden Eagles in career 3-point percentage at 41.5 percent. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science, while also served on SAAC and was in the NASCAR Sports Marketing Program

He coached for three years at the high school level, including coaching Team Buddy Buckets. He also played in the German Regionalliga before the pandemic halted his playing career in 2020. He then spent 2 years as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Colorado State University where he had a hand in all aspects of the program. He is currently the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Casady School in Oklahoma City.

This 2026 Summer basketball camp focuses on developing better scoring moves, ball handling, and playmaking ability!

At these basketball camps, you improve your scoring, ball handling, shooting, passing, athleticism, footwork, decision-making, and 1 on 1 moves to take your game to the next level!

These basketball camps are for boys and girls in grades 3rd to 8th.

You will learn the techniques and skill needed to become a great shooter.

You will learn the essential skills to becoming a great ball handler� no fluff.

You will learn how to make more lay ups.

You will learn how to become a defensive stopper and rebounding machine.

You will learn the critical components of basketball IQ required to become a great offensive player from an individual and team aspect.

We will teach you all of the critical skills and concepts that coaches love and help players excel.

Ball Handling

Stationary ball handling routine that improve rhythm, feel, and coordination with the basketball.

Dribbles move to help you blow by the defense at will.

Critical progressions to ensure that your dribble moves are effective and explosive.

Shooting

How to position your feet and align your body to increase the chance of shooting the ball straight.

A form shooting routine that almost every great shooter has utilized that can be done at home.

How to improve speed with hip-turns, push step, and better movement fundamentals.

5 fundamental keys to effective close-outs.

How position away from the ball and be a great team defensive player.

How to effectively box out your man every time.

Footwork

How to use your feet to gain a better position to score from almost anywhere on the floor.

How to utilize front pivots, reverse pivots, step throughs, sweeps, drop steps, and hops to make you an elite player.

Passing

Competitive Play and Controlled Scrimmages

This is a 3 day basketball camp in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that will teach you the essential skills, techniques, habits, IQ and drills to become an elite player (to develop an elite mindset, which is what truly separates players.).
You will learn what it takes to play at the elite level. Becoming an individual that can help your team succeed and understands the importance of the little things.

You will improve your ball handling, shooting, passing, athleticism, decision-making, leadership skills, and scoring.

Who is this for?

This is NOT for beginners. This is for intermediate to advanced players looking to be placed in a high-intensity environment with competitive drills. The camp is for players who already possess some foundational skills and are looking to take their game to the next level.

This is for any player that wants to become a high-level playmaker. Every coach would love to have 5 players on the floor with the skills, decision-making, and leadership of elite playmakers.

So if you are a wing player or a post player who is serious about elevating your game to the next level, this camp would be great for you as well.

Here are a few things that you will learn at the camp:

Develop an explosive first step

This is probably one of the most important aspects of being an elite playmaker, but it is rarely broken down and taught properly. Learn about the proper shin angle, head position, shoulder position, and hip position.

Develop superior hand-eye coordination and feel for the ball

In this camp, you will be challenged with advanced hand-eye coordination and dribbling drills that will challenge you and accelerate your feel for the basketball. These drills will make dribbling during game situations feel easy.

How to handle game situations like Chris Paul & Steph Curry

Chris Paul and Steph Curry are two of the smartest players currently in the NBA. We have studied the games of these players and will show tactics and little tricks that these playmakers use during games.

For example, whenever Chris Paul and Steph Curry face a switch on a ball screen and they get a bigger slower defender on them, they almost always take two big dribbles backwards to create space and give them room to get forward momentum to attack the bigger, slower defender. Little tips like these will take you from being a good player to an elite player.

You will learn how they handle ball screens, fast break situations, double teams, and aggressive pressure.

Get to the next level by improving the lost art of passing.

Not only will you learn advanced dribbling drills that will be extremely challenging, we will also introduce passing drills that will make you a much better passer in game-like situations. We will teach how to pass against pressure, how to read the defense and find the open guy, how to pass in transition, how to pass against double teams, and how to pass into the post.

If you can handle the ball and make great passes, every coach will find a place for you on their team.

How to play great defense and lock down your opponent like Kawhi Leonard by learning the strategies he uses

You will learn how to properly move on the floor so you can make things much more difficult for your opponents. If you can focus on defense, stop your opponent from scoring, you will get playing time because your coach can�t afford to keep you off the floor. You will learn proper body position when guarding the ball, how to dictate what the offense does, and how to force them into low percentage scoring situations. We will teach you how to adapt to all of the different kinds of scorers to put the advantage back in your hands.

Video Breakdown Analysis of Elite Players

You will get to see video breakdown analysis of some of the best basketball players in the world. You will see how they execute certain skills and make decisions on the basketball floor, so you apply it to your practice sessions to elevate to an even higher level of play.

Shooting, scoring, and advanced dribble moves

In addition, we will practice game-like shooting drills, scoring from any position on the floor, and advanced dribble moves that all great playmakers possess.

Leadership and Life Skills that the best leaders use to help his teammates develop a championship mindset

In addition to teaching you the necessary physical and mental skills to be a great playmaker, we will teach you leadership and life skills that will make you a successful human being. We will teach you traits that some of the best players have, why that makes them successful, and how these same traits will help you be successful in life.

We will also teach you traits from some of the most successful people outside of the basketball world that will make you successful in the real world in any career path you may choose.

No matter how far you make in the athletic world, there is always life after basketball.

The camp is for male and female players from 7th to 12th grade.

If you're a guard, wing player or a post player who is serious about elevating your game to the next level, this camp is great for you.

Observing Coaches

Coaches can attend for free by working the basketball camp. Email us with your coaching/playing experience if you're interested in helping with the basketball camp.

Otherwise there is a $97 fee to attend as an "observing coach". You will get to learn new drills and techniques from Aaron Young, just like all the players and other coaches in attendance. Visit this link to reserve your spot as an observing coach.
