Coach Christopher Dendinger

Chris Dendinger joined the Northwest Nazarene men�s Basketball staff in May 2024. Previously, he spent four years as the Associate Head Men�s Basketball Coach or Assistant Coach at Colorado Christian University

Before Chris was at CCU, he spent two years on the Men�s Basketball staff at Oral Roberts University and one season as an Assistant Coach at John Brown University. He also spent one season at Cedarville University as a volunteer assistant coach

While earning his undergraduate degree in Sports Sciences from Ohio University, he was student manager for the conference champion women's basketball team

Shooting Off of the Dribble Like Russell Westbrook & Kyrie Irving

As the levels go up, it's very important to add a pull up jump shot off of the dribble. This gives you the ability to score as defenders rush out to defend the initial shot. You will learn:

The often ignored, but important progressions for the shot off of the dribble learned from legendary Hal Wissel who coached in the NBA

Learn how to properly pick up the basketball and how doing it the wrong way could be causing your shot to miss to the left and the right

Observing Coaches

Coaches can attend for free by working the basketball camp. Email us with your coaching/playing experience if you're interested in helping with the basketball camp.

Otherwise there is a $97 fee to attend as an "observing coach". You will get to learn new drills and techniques from Christopher Dendinger, just like all the players and other coaches in attendance. Visit this link to reserve your spot as an observing coach.
