"Basketball Rebounding eBooks -- How to Develop a Dominant Rebounding Team that Wins the War on the Boards!"

Why is Rebounding SO Important?

Most coaches know that rebounding is pretty important, but unless you really stop to think about it, you probably don't realize how incredibly important rebounding truly is!

Simply put, great rebounding wins games! There is a direct correlation between rebounding and winning.

Take a moment to consider these 5 profound impacts that excellent rebounding will have on your team:

  1. Excellent rebounding will give your team more chances to score and give your opponent fewer chances to score. Just one offensive rebound could literally give your team as much as a 6 point swing! This is because you get an extra shot (could be up to 3 points) and you take one opportunity away from your opponent (could be up to 3 points). That's a 6 point swing in your favor.

    Bottom line, good rebounding teams usually get more possessions than their opponents. Which means you have more opportunities to score, while your opponents have less.

  2. Excellent rebounding will improve your team's shooting percentage. Many times, offensive rebounds are put-backs from close in. These are high percentage shots that usually go in. Plus, a defensive rebound ending in a good outlet pass can allow for a fast break score before the opposing team can even set up their defense. Many times, these are easy high percentage shots.

    Every great play often starts with a REBOUND. If you're good at rebounding, your team's shooting percentage will go up.

  3. Excellent rebounding will lower your opponents shooting percentage. By cleaning up the boards, you stop the other team from getting out and running consistently. You also take away easy put backs on the offensive end.

  4. Excellent rebounding will get you to the free throw line more often and can get your opponent in foul trouble. How many times do you see a fouling situation occur on an offensive rebound put back?

  5. Excellent rebounding usually means your team has more heart -- and better defense. If your team has more heart, then it is probably going to spill over to the defensive end of the court.

It's no wonder that most great coaches constantly talk about rebounding.

Of all the uncertainties that exist in the game of basketball, there is one thing that you can always be sure of; no matter how talented of a player you are, or how great your coaching is SHOTS WILL BE MISSED.

What's included in the Basketball Rebounding eBook?

Actually there are two eBooks. All the drills are listed in a separate eBook to make it easier for you to reference during the season. That's why there are two.

The first eBook is 54 pages and explains all the fundamentals, strategies, and tips. It also includes a step-by-step guide that shows you exactly how to develop a great rebounding team.

Here are some of the things you'll learn in the first eBook:

  • The 8 Keys to Develop a Dominant Rebounding Team!

  • Rebounding Fundamentals and Techniques (Includes Photos That Show the Techniques)

  • 10 Common Rebounding Mistakes Made by Coaches and Players

  • How to Make Your Players More Aggressive and Attack the Boards

  • How to Track Rebounding Stats (And Why Most Coaches Do It WRONG!)

  • How to Get More Offensive Rebounds

  • How to Develop the Right Rebounding "Mentality"

  • 18 Killer Rebounding Tips and Tricks

  • Step by Step Guide for Coaches: How to Develop a Dominant Rebounding Team

  • Defensive Rebounding Techniques and Fundamentals

  • Offensive Rebounding Techniques and Fundamentals

We make it easy for you by laying everything out step by step. We tell you exactly how to develop a dominant rebounding team and win more games.

53 Basketball Rebounding Drills

As part of the package you'll receive a supplemental eBook with 53 basketball rebounding drills. This eBook is 73 pages and all the rebounding drills are neatly organized and labeled -- so you can quickly find the drills that you need for practice.

Most of the drills develop a variety of rebounding skills, so we have labeled each drill with the following codes:

    Y = Youth
    AG = Aggression
    TH = Timing and Getting Hands Up
    BX = Boxing out
    SC = Securing / Chinning the Ball
    OT = Outlet
    BB = Beating the Box Out (Swim, Spin, etc)
    CA = Conditioning / Athletic Development
    OP = Offensive Put Backs
    TP = Tipping

To view a detailed table of contents and see exactly what's included, check out the sample excerpt found below.

WARNING for Youth Coaches

Yes, a youth coach will learn a lot from the eBooks (rebounding fundamentals, strategies, and drills). But much of the content and the step-by-step guide was written for teams that simply want to win more games.

We do NOT think winning is important at the youth level. And youth coaches should not spend a large amount of time on rebounding (especially the younger kids). Your time is limited and we believe you should work on more important things like shooting skills, passing, ballhandling, footwork, motion offense concepts, man to man defense, and other player development fundamentals.

As kids get older, rebounding can be emphasized. This eBook is intended for competitive middle school, high school, and college coaches.

It's great if you want to pick up the books and learn from them, but we don't suggest you apply all of the techniques. It would be counter productive for youth teams. If you have any questions, let us know. We're here to help.

I took my son to the advanced skills post player camp in July at lenexa, ks. We're going to another post player camp with don kelbick in Omaha, ne. In September. I bought the post player eBook and the rebounding eBook. Everything has been just what we were looking for. 100% satisfied with everything. Thanks

Information is very thorough and clear. Sometimes repetetive but overall a great resource to fall back on to refresh key points and implement one of the many rebounding drills.

The book on rebounding theory was pretty basic. Being a former college player and current high school coach I was not presented with anything new in that. It would be a good read for a youth coach with limited playing experience.
The rebounding drill book was better. My players despise rebounding drills, and the book didn't change that. Some of the 53 drills are repetitive. I have found about 10 usable drills in there. It was just a little too expensive for what it offered. I do continue to use the other books and website since I do find valuable info on it. Just a little disappointed in this purchase considering the price.

I have incorporated several of the rebounding drills into practice on a regular basis since summer. They have made a marked increase in boxing out. Our rebound numbers are up and we are giving up a lot less second shots to our opponents.

Being a coach of multiple sports; (Varsity girls soccer, basketball, softball, and now back in Middle school girls basketball, it's nice to have something you can take with you and review as I set up my practices.
The information is top notch, and the drawings are perfect in reconstructing the event for each practice.
Thanks for taking the time to put together a product that I can use and refer back to in a moment.

I just wanted to thank you for running such a wonderful website and company. Great customer service seems to be thing of the past these days and I was very pleased with how well I was treated on the phone by your employees and how quickly you got back to me. That impressed me a lot. I coach jr. high girls basketball and your sight has been a blessing and a tremendous help to me over the past few seasons. I have been telling every coach I meet about your site and how helpful it is. I even have my players go there to read and learn as much as they can. I just finished reading the rebounding e-book and will be telling all my coaching friends to buy it too. Thank you again for your devotion to helping players and coaches.

Brothers H: Have not made it through drills ebook yet. Rebounding book proves that there is nothing new under the sun, however, what is excellent about the package is that it puts all that knowledge into one place and PRIORITIZES the fundamentals in a philosophy that allows coaches and players to focus on the points that matter most. Also, well delivered to integrate with offense/defense/transition skill building at practices. View on stats is thought provoking and since rebounding is built on attitude and heart, provides helpful info and approach to MOTIVATE players.

A lot of good information and drills for all ages. Our season is over for this year but I plan to incorporate a new rebounding philosopy and utalization of many of the drills beginning early next season.

I love it - I have already incorporated alot of the information and drills into my practices. Our team varsity girls team is 17-2, but I have not been happy with our rebounding consistently throughout this season. Especially, if we want to get better for post season. After incorporating some drills and helping educate my players on rebounding philosophy that I have forgotten to emphasis, it seems to have help rejuvinate our players intensity and interest with rebounding.

I was hesitating,if I buy or not. Now I am glad,because it gives me a complete info about important part of basketball,sometimes underestimated by coaches and players both. Its comparable to other Haefner s ebooks from the quality point of view and I have probably most of them,nice work !!!
