In this video below, you can see Steph Curry finishing over 7-footer Steven Adams. Scoring over 7-footers in the NBA is no easy task.



Like Steph did, you drive with the mentality that you're going straight through the shot blocker’s chest.

Anybody who has attended our Elite Guard Camps has heard this before.

1 - It helps you create space from the shot blocker and throws off their timing.

2 - At the youth, high school, and college level, you might get more fouls called.

This happens because young shot blockers have trouble staying completely vertical. And verticality is so rare that when it does happen, most of the time the referee still calls a foul on the defense.
