Hi,

I am still a new player and I was just wondering how to gain strength.

by working out, lifting weights
Set goals first. Consider lifting weights 3 times a week and doing cardio work 3 times a week. Chart your progress each day.
You will want to lift at least 3 sets of 12, 10, 8 reps a piece on each body part.

Also make sure you are eating healthy foods with lots of protein. Foods such as chicken, tuna, eggs, steak, etc...
If you have a weight coach at your school, talk to him and see what he suggests..... IF not, a PE teacher could help you. What level are you playing at?
