We live in DFW area. I have a high school freshman boy. His skills are pretty good and he just finished freshman A team season.
He wants to take it to next level. But we are struggling to find a good coach who can do private training. He needs a professional or semi-professional coach to help him.
I wonder if anyone here can provide some information on how to find a great coach in DFW area?
Thank you very much

I would ask around (high school coach, local college coaches, friends, etc) and search on google (basketball trainers in dallas fort worth). Then evaluate at one coach at a time.
Sorry if that's not much help but that's the only way I know how to find trainers. There are thousands of them all over the country.

If you're familiar with a club (AAU) team in DFW area, contact them. If not, search for a few club/AAU teams and starting poking around there. I'm sure you'll dig up a few names. DFW Elite and Texas Express come to mind. Hope this helps.

Charlie Miller is a great instructor and directs basketball camps for us. He would do a great job. Here is his website.

I also know that Rick Allison is a good trainer in the area. Here is his information.
