shooting

My granddaughter just finished her 7th grade basketball season. She is 5 foot 10 inches and plays the post. She did real well. She rebounded and blocked shots but she needs a lot of help on her offensive put backs. She probably made about 15 to 20 percent of her put backs this year. What can I do to increase that percentage or will it naturally come around.

Sounds like you have a rising star in the making.
A lot of this comes with experience, but there are a few drills I like that help.
This is a pretty simple drill, but I like keeping things simple

The Mikan drills are some of my favorites and are a must for someone like your granddaughter. The only thing I would change on this drill is catching the ball at its highest point and putting it right back up.:
