Hello My name is Ryan Janeczek. I am a junior in High School in New Jersey and i play basketball for my Varsity team and i have a love for basetball and i know coaching at the higher level is what i want to do with my life. This Fall i coached and 8th grade travel team and that was awesome! i dd it all by myself and it was so fun. Now on regards to become a D1 coach. I have talked to numerous people and so many people like to tel me it is impossible for me to do because i have no contacts.. I am nervous i am curious what it takes to become a student manager at a school like Louisville or Florida and if being a student manager is the only way to ecentually become a college coach and if not how does one eventually become a d1 coach. Just some insight and or life storys from you guys would be great

Not necessarily...... I wrote a letter for one of my managers and he got the job, no scholarship the first year, but the next 3 were paid. Like I said, have your coach write a letter for you.
It is not an easy task... you do a lot of stuff you might not like, but its what you want to do right now.
