Offseason Workout Schedule
1/21/2013 22:04
I have three workouts of different intensities. Light, medium and heavy. Light is a resting one mostly, basic ball handling and spot up jump shooting some finishing and off dribble. Medium is moderate ball handling, and the most balanced. And heavy is high moderate/ advanced ball handling with a lot of balanced shooting. And a descent amount of finishing. And I'm not sure what my schedule should be. I'm trying something new for awhile and seeing if it works. Any schedule suggestion?

oh and do you think this is a bad idea? I am doing this so I can train 6 or 7 days a week and not get burned out. Any schedule suggestions or other suggestions relating to this? Thanks

Daniel, it's very hard to tell you what to do considering we don't know your age, skill level, and what kind of shots you get during games.
This is what I will have in every one of my workouts.
2-Ball or 1-Ball Warm Up Ball Handling Drill
Athletic Development - Lateral and Linear Speed, Hand Quickness, Jumping
Form Shooting
A tip I got from Don Kelbick is that he will have a different emphasis on some days. For example,
Guard Play
Post Play
High-Rep Shooting
Fast Break
That way, you're getting game-like shots up while working on your game.
