Hey Coach A, I might be old but I wasn't around in the times of the Peach Basket LOL Not sure when or why that term was used. I like the way you introduced that to your team..... KISS method and that always works the best.

Coach Biggs, take a look at this site... a friend of mine put one of my games on his site,,, we play m2m on/up the line and a match up zone here.... IF it doesn't work at first, just click out and do it again, that usually works for me.

The team we played was #8 in the state at the time... we played very well and executed our game plan..... and of course, the coach always looks good when you shoot well. :-)

The first 10 minutes is enough to watch unless you are bored and want to see the entire game.

Yeah, once I looked up the "shell drill," I realized it wasn't anything new to me. I used this drill in practices this year because that's the way I learned M2M in college. I had just never heard the term "shell drill" before.

Thanks for the link Coach Sar. Really cool how modern technology allows us to share these things. I only watched the first half. I assume your team was the gold team? Either way. I didn't see either team doing what I thought on the line/up the line was. Glad I was able to see that and clear up my misconceptions.

The gold team was really good at working the ball around. The red team never passed more than twice before they took a shot. I assume the gold team wins in the end. If the red team makes a comeback, let me know and I'll watch the second half. :)

We were in Silver and yes we won.... The thing about that game was that we played a match up zone a lot too.... thats why you weren't seeing on/up the line as much as you would like... you have to watch a little more - figure out when we were in m2m and see that we did a better job of being in a denial position.... not the best, but as you saw... that kid was 7'1", we had to pay a lot of attention to keep him under control.

When we played m2m we put a lot more pressure on the ball.... in the match up, all we did was to control them. They shot quickly because they spent a lot of time on D.... frustrated them into taking quick shots. By the way, that was a HUGE upset.

Hi,

I`ve been a coach of youth`s for two years but my knowledge is not certificated. Can anyone tell me any web site that offers online training or courses and gives certificate for that?

Thank you
