When is the player inbounding the ball allowed to move side to side to inbound the ball ? Is it only after the opponent scores a basket and the ball is being inbounded on the baseline ?
Can a player start out on the court and go out of bounds on the baseline and receive a pass from the original inbounding player with player 2 then making the actual inbounds pass or do both players need to be out of bounds to start with in order to make this pass.Can the ball touch the floor when the pass is made out of bounds from player 1 to player 2 ?

A player is allowed to move after a made shot - and YES player A can pass to player B to inbound the ball.... we used a play like that but only after made baskets.

I think we had that discussion whether or not a player could dribble it and I believe the answer is yes... so I guess a bounce pass could be used in this situation also.

Player B can start inbounds and then go out of bounds to catch a pass from player A and then pass to some one on the court on a made basket.

A ref blew this call and was going to give the ball to the other team... I had to burn a time out to straighten it out - it almost cost us the game.

So, if you are not sure about your officials you might want to talk to them about this play.
