For the chair shooting thing, when i even try to shoot from 2 or 3 feet out, i can't even touch the rim.

i need to work a lot shooting at game speed. That is the biggest problem i have, even when i have enough room to shoot, i get scared the defender will block me. How can i work shooting game speed?

Read the instructions again and make sure you are doing it right.... I never did this so I cant say too much about it.

Every shooting drill you do make sure it is at a game speed..... have some confidence in yourself... you're going to miss 100% of the shots you don't take.... IF you are open, pull the trigger and don't worry about being blocked... even the pros get blocked at times.

Don't walk thru your shooting workouts....

when having a one on one, sometimes i dribble very low and its hard for me to look up at the defender's face. So instead i end up looking at his lower body to see where he is and try to bust his ankles him out like that, but it doesn't work out that well. Should i dribble a little higher or something else?

Keep the ball between you and the defender.. keep your forearm out a little bit.. don't push him off.... you cant beat anyone when you are looking down.

The rule of thumb pretty much is the closer the defender the lower the dribble... but turn your body slightly to keep him away from the ball... you need to come up with a stutter step, change of pace, a crossover, something to create some distance between you and the defender.

Bottom line, you need to work on your dribbling skills until you can handle the ball with your head up.

i'm really good at change of pace.
What's the best way to work on the crossover?

A lot of practice... and using a hesitation move... coming up at the defender... slowing down and then use a quick crossover and explode past him.

do you know of any good summer camps that happen anywhere near Vancouver British Columbia in Canada. I've been trying to find one so far but have not been successful

As for the crossover... as you come up on the guy, get him to lean one way and then cross over on him and blow by him.

As for the summer camps up there.... just do a search on the net and see what you come up with.
