Hi there,

What's the best way to break the Amoeba defense? I think, I would like to use a 1-4 high. Does anybody know a good continuity 1-4 high offense against the Amoeba def.? I have a well balance team but our best player is 6 2" forward, not a true post player.

Thank you very much!

I would use a 2-1-2 offensive attack since the guards are on a string and all too often they leave the middle open because they cover the lateral pass on the two guard front. However, quickly pass the ball on the top and have someone w/patience flash into the middle. The big in the Amoeba comes up and covers the top and the wings are trained to drop back also leaving the wings open. Also on ball reversal attack the guards since they're running out to cover the lateral pass or shot/pass fake and attack. Good Luck Give me some feedback
