Not to brag or anything but I'm like the best player on my team and sometimes i play all of the positions and my question is how can I get all of my teammates more involved and how to get them better at the positions they are assigned to? Because I can't do all of it by myself I'm a team player and by the way I'm in ninth grade!

You might try setting them up for shots in practice and tell them that they have to shoot it because you are not going to. At least this will force them to shoot... tell them that they need to step up and make some plays, either on defense or offense.

As for you trying to get them better at the positions they play, thats the coaches job - you can help them by talking them thru different things but its still the coaches job.

Step up and accept the leadership role on your team. Don't just be a leader because you are the best player on the team. Praise your teammates, encourage them during practices, during games and during time-outs and locker room talks.

Lead by example. Show enthusiasm and passion for the game during practices and games. Dive on the floor for all loose balls, battle for every rebound, if a teammate hits the deck during a game, run over and help that player up. All these things that you do have a positive effect......your teammates see your hustle and passion and they step up themselves....maybe not in ways that you can because of talent level but in all those little things that matter during a game.

Give them opportunities to contribute during games by you dishing out assists to them or you rebounding and kicking the outlet to another player and letting them run the fastbreak.

Lastly, be patient with your teammates. They may not have the skills that you possess so their development may require some time.
Any criticism should be followed with praise.

Good Luck
