Well here's the deal. Me and my best friend Erica are basketball fanatics, and this is our freshman year in high school and we wanted to try out for basketball this year but we're unable to because of a mix-up. Me and Erica play basketball all the time in gym. After try-outs were over and the team was already picked it seems like the coach of the basketball team is always in the gym while we're playing basketball. One day he called her over and she came back and told me she was on the team. I was happy for her but I was down because it seems like no matter how hard i tried to impress him he payed more attention to her than me. I want to be on this team so bad. How come she gets to be on the team and not me. I need help!!!

Talk to the coach. Let the coach know that you really want to make the team and help the team. Ask what you need to do to help and make the team. Then do what the coach says and practice hard. Check out this article for good tips to get more playing time:
