I want to improve my skills and I haven't been able to find a good site that lists possible coaching clinics. Any suggestions would be great. I believe you can only learn so much from the web and love to learn in person.

I know you're trying to get away from the web, but I'll throw out the NFHS site for grins. I've taken several courses from them which can help (and might be required) if you're applying for high school coaching jobs. They aren't as dynamic as attending a coaching clinic though. http://www.nfhslearn.com/

I've found out about decent coaching clinics by contacting local colleges and universities. The clinics are out there if you want to spend the money. A few of my colleagues have attended the PGC courses along with their kids. A bit on the pricey side for me, but I know they produce quality stuff.

One other suggestion is finding a local mentor you can ask questions or even shadow if they're willing to allow that. Could be a local high school or college coach, or even an AAU league coach.

Hope this helps a bit.

it does help - I will continue to look online and learn. Just didn't know if there was a good place where things like this are listed per state. I did attend our big state clinic in the fall and loved it.
