I have been working with a group of 6 and 7 year old kids. Our league does not keep up with fouls. Basically they stop the kids when they see them doing it. My boys want to steal the ball but reach and foul when they do it. What can I do at practice to help with this

Practice 1on1 defensive drills teaching players to keep good balance. Flipping up, grabbing the ball, etc is fine when you do it at the right time. But you don't want players losing balance all the time and then getting beat by the good players.

Basically if your shoulders are over your hips, you have good balance.

Also, let kids foul out. Maybe if a parent keeps track of fouls, then you can sit players on the bench they can foul out. From my experience that is the best way to learn.... fouling out.
