Coach Zeke Thompkins played collegiate basketball at New Mexico Highlands University (NCAA Division II), Missouri Baptist University (NAIA), and the junior college level, where he helped lead his team to a Regional Championship and a 4th-place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament.
Coach Zeke brings more than seven years of basketball camp coaching experience, including four years with Breakthrough Basketball and his second year serving as a Lead Camp Coach. Known for his high-energy, encouraging, and player-first coaching style, he creates a positive learning environment where athletes are challenged, supported, and motivated to improve every day.
He is passionate about teaching the game the right way by emphasizing fundamentals, game-like decision-making, teamwork, and confidence. Parents consistently praise Coach Zeke for his enthusiasm, ability to connect with players of all ages, individual attention to each camper, and commitment to helping every athlete develop both as a basketball player and as a teammate.
