Lead Instructor - Shaun Little Horn


Shaun Little Horn is a Lead camp Instructor for Breakthrough Basketball and currently serves as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach for the Four Winds University Wolfpack. He is a certified gold coach with USA Basketball and a member of the NABC. 

During the 2023-2024 season, Shaun transitioned to collegiate coaching and made history by leading Oglala Lakota College to its first Tribal College National Championship in 41 years, while also being named the Tribal Coach of the Year.

Prior to his roles at the collegiate level, Shaun coached his way into being a 7x State Champion and 7x National Champion at the high school level between 2003-2014. He was also crowned National High School Coach of the Year in '07, '08, and 2012.

Shaun has an overall coaching record of 338-47 (88%) and has coached three players who played professionally in the NBA and an additional 19 who played professionally overseas. He also holds an overall record of 52-0 in State and National Championship play.

Shaun’s dedication has earned him numerous accolades off the court, including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. He is also the author of the forthcoming book “Winning Playbook: Building a Championship Culture,” set for release in November 2024.
