Patrick Kraning Camps

Lead Instructor - Patrick Kraning 

Patrick Kraning brings more than 20 years of basketball coaching and training experience to Breakthrough Basketball. At the varsity level, he has compiled an impressive career record of 261–131 coaching both high school girls’ and boys’ basketball. His coaching excellence has been recognized with five Region Basketball Varsity Coach of the Year awards and selection as a three-time All-Star Basketball Coach for the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association Games.

In addition to his success at the varsity level, Coach Kraning has been a long-time leader in player development, serving as a skills trainer in South Dakota for over two decades. He has also coached AAU teams from 15U through 17U, helping athletes develop their skills and prepare for higher levels of competition. His dedication to the game and to his athletes has further been honored with four South Dakota High School Basketball Coaches Association Junior High Coach of the Year awards.

Coach Kraning is passionate about teaching the game, mentoring young athletes, and helping players reach their full potential both on and off the court.
