Lead Instructor - Mikayla Lopez

Coach Lopez is the current head women's basketball coach at Bethany College, where she led the Bison to back-to-back PAC Tournament appearances in her first two seasons, advancing to the semifinals in year two. She coached one of the top shooters in program history, Lindsey Garrison, who ranked in the NCAA top 10 for made three-pointers in 2023–24.

Lopez previously served as an assistant coach at Buena Vista University and Aurora University, where her teams set school records for scoring and three-pointers. She also coached at the high school and AAU levels and interned with the WNBA’s Chicago Sky.

As a standout point guard at Augustana College, Lopez set a school record for free-throw percentage and led her team in assists and steals. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and political science and a master’s degree in business administration with a leadership focus.
