Justin Amaya Camps

Justin Amaya brings more than 20 years of basketball coaching experience at the AAU and varsity levels, working with both boys and girls programs.

His varsity coaching career spans more than a decade and includes numerous team and individual accomplishments. Amaya is a five-time Coach of the Year honoree and was named the 2023 Oregon State Coach of the Year after helping lead his team to the Oregon 4A State Championship.

In addition to his high school coaching experience, Amaya has extensive experience in AAU basketball and currently coaches with the Run and Shoot AAU program. He also serves as a Regional Director and coach with the National Phenom Girls Basketball Camp.

Throughout his career, Amaya has developed a strong background in teaching the game, developing young athletes, and creating competitive, positive basketball environments. He brings decades of experience and a passion for helping players improve their skills, confidence, and overall understanding of the game.
