Lead Instructor - Jake Blackwell

Coach Blackwell is the Athletic Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Adventure Christian High School in Roseville, California, and brings over 20 years of basketball coaching experience across multiple levels. His background includes coaching AAU boys, middle school boys and girls, and high school boys varsity, giving him a well-rounded perspective on player development at every stage.

As a former player, Jake competed locally at Casa Roble High School from 1997–2001 before continuing his career at Simpson University from 2001–2005. Throughout his coaching career, he has helped develop impactful players, including coaching the Sacramento Bee Girls Player of the Year during her middle school years. Most recently, he led Adventure Christian High School to its first tournament championship this season.

Players and parents can expect a high-energy, fast-paced camp environment focused on learning through action. Sessions emphasize skill development, effort, and repetition over long lectures, ensuring players leave feeling challenged, accomplished, and more confident in their game.
