Danny Brown Camps

Lead Instructor - Danny Brown

Danny Brown brings an impressive combination of college coaching, professional playing, and player development experience to the court.

Brown became the head men’s basketball coach at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) in 2017, taking over a program that had not won a game in three years. Under his leadership, the Eutectics made steady progress, including achieving the program’s best conference record since its inception in 1993 and later recording its most wins in a season since 2004.

Prior to UHSP, Brown spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Saint Louis University under former National Coach of the Year Jim Crews. During his time with the Billikens, the program made back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, won consecutive Atlantic 10 championships, set school records for wins and consecutive victories, and earned the first Top 10 national ranking in program history.

Throughout his coaching career, Brown has coached multiple all-conference players, an All-American, and a conference Player of the Year. He has also worked extensively as a personal skills trainer with professional players competing in the United States and overseas, including former Miami Heat forward Willie Reed.

Before entering coaching, Brown played four seasons at Saint Louis University under Brad Soderberg and legendary coach Rick Majerus. A standout shooter, Brown shot 49% from three-point range in a season, ranking second in Billiken history at the time. Following college, he played professionally in Mexico, Venezuela, Cyprus, and Spain.

A native of Houston, Texas, Brown earned both his bachelor’s degree in marketing and master’s degree in higher education administration from Saint Louis University.
