Lead Instructor - Brad Johnson

Brad Johnson took over as head coach of the Bison men’s basketball program in March 2023 and is entering his second season in 2024–25. Prior to joining the Bison, he spent two seasons at Nebraska Wesleyan and three seasons at Seton Hill University, where he helped guide the Griffins to a PSAC Tournament appearance and coached three All-PSAC players.

Johnson also spent three years at Frostburg State, serving as a graduate assistant before being promoted to top assistant. During his tenure, the team achieved its best record in several years, reached the CAC tournament, and led the nation in blocks per game. His coaching career began as a student assistant at Baldwin Wallace, followed by six years as an AAU head coach and founder of the North Coast Runnin' Rebels.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in athletic coaching from Baldwin Wallace and earned his MBA from Frostburg State.
