BJ Watson Camps

Coach Watson currently serves as the Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at The Barstow School and brings extensive experience coaching at the high school, post-grad, and collegiate levels.

Prior to Barstow, he was an Assistant Coach at Montverde Academy, where he helped lead the program to an undefeated 33–0 season and a 2024 Chipotle Nationals championship.

He also previously served as Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Central Pointe Post Grad, leading the program to a 2022 Big Shots Prep National Championship.

At the collegiate level, he spent three seasons as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Park University from 2017–2020, helping guide the program to an AMC Regular Season Championship and an NAIA National Tournament appearance in 2020.

In addition to his coaching accomplishments, he has coached four current NBA players, including Cooper Flagg, Derik Queen, Asa Newell, and Liam McNeeley.

As a player at Park University, he earned 2017 NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors, was named First Team All-AMC in 2017 and Third Team All-AMC in 2016, while helping lead the program to multiple NAIA National Tournament appearances.
