Who is Aundrey Wright?

Aundrey Wright is a highly experienced basketball coach with more than 30 years of coaching at the high school and collegiate levels. He currently serves as Associate Head Coach at Cathedral High School, where he has helped lead the program to multiple state championships, including titles in 2022 and 2026.

Coach Wright has 19 years of collegiate coaching experience, with stops at University of Indianapolis, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, PennWest California (formerly California University of Pennsylvania), and St. Louis Community College–Meramec. During his collegiate career, he helped teams earn multiple NCAA Tournament appearances, national rankings, and conference championships.

Known for his ability to develop players, Coach Wright has worked with numerous athletes who advanced to Division I basketball and beyond, including Jordan Loyd, a 2019 NBA Champion, along with several current Division I players. He also coaches with Indy Heat Gym Rats, one of the nation's top AAU basketball programs.

Coach Wright is respected for his strong teaching skills, leadership, and commitment to helping young athletes improve both on and off the court.
